To date, I have built and painted around 2,000pts of the second company of the Ultramarines, the main protagonists of the videogame mentioned above.
This includes Redemptor Dreadnoughts, Intercessors, and named characters - most notably Roboute Guilliman and Marneus Calgar.
I've painted many Space Marines, and collected many Space Marine factions, but I think I've hit a groove with the boys from Ultramar. Something about the vivid blue and how well the weathering contrasts with it just speaks to me.
I've also decided to, rather ambitiously, paint all of the HQ options in the army with non-metallic metals. This started with Marneus, with questionable results, and has continued through each and every character model since.
